The MAV cluster has renewed for four more years, until 2028, the Innovative Business Grouping Seal (AEI), granted by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism and the General Directorate of Industry and the SME.

This recognition, which has been held by the association since 2021, accredits its role as a key entity in the dynamization of innovation and collaboration between companies, technology centers, universities and other agents in the R&D system. The aim is to promote transformative projects that contribute to the competitiveness of the Catalan and state business fabric in the field of advanced materials.

Since obtaining the AEI label, the MAV cluster has promoted a total of 14 collaborative innovation projects at the state level, in which dozens of companies, SMEs and knowledge centers from all over the State have participated. These projects have allowed to develop technological solutions in areas such as circular economy, additive manufacturing, sustainable energy, biotechnology or traceability of materials, among others.

The projects promoted from 2021 include initiatives such as TERAMAT 1 and 2, Building Legacy, Matontime, 3dbonebiotech, weight 3D and 2, Smart Battery Case 1 and 2, Inho_tool, H2ome, Biocel, Digital Space Parts and SUR 3D. All of them can be consulted in detail on the MAV Cluster website.
